Each year from August - November we will be bringing one Adult Men's team per week to the San Quentin Prison in Marin County to play a game of flag football against a team of incarcerated players. This is an opportunity for us to extend compassion, love, and grace to those who can use outside camaraderie. If this opportunity sounds like a blessing you would like to be a part of, then move forward with registration.

Since we are allowed to bring in one team per week (most likely Saturday mornings), frequency of a teams appearance depends on how many volunteer players we have registered and how many teams we are able to form. For example, if we have 30 players signed up for four teams, each team will come once every 4 weeks for the 3-month season for a total of three games. If we have 2 teams, then the teams will play every other weekend for a total of 6 games.

We will be providing shorts and jerseys for all players. You are allowed to bring in a water bottle, sunglasses (optional), and a mouthguard.

Anyone who wishes to partake in this event will need to be mindful that we are going in as good men of good influence and should not engage in trash talk/profanity.

Also, there will be a mandatory federal background check with San Quentin that each player will need to proceed. This will not cost you money, and you will not be excluded for having prior arrests yourself as this could potentially end up in a mentor opportunity for you.\

In order to complete our background checks on time, interested players will need to be registered with The Coach Sarna League by July 1st.
